WFH-Approved Immune Power Shots & Energy Bites

When you’re stuck at home and feeling low, we’ve got the hive approved elixirs and treats to keep you going strong! These recipes come from our very own Chelsea Ladd, CNP, opens in a new tab... so you know they're hive-worthy.      

WFH Power Shot 

(makes 1 cup) 

Epic immune support & focus support, all in one spicy shot!    

  • Juice of ¼ lemon or ½ lime 
  • ½ inch knob of ginger, peeled & crushed 
  • 1 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 3 dashes of cayenne powder  
  • ½ vial B.LXR Brain Fuel  
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small glass, top off the glass with filtered water (as desired), and bottoms up!   

Maca + Pollen Energy Bites   

(makes 10-12 bites) 

Experience triple threat energy with B.Powered, maca, and bee pollen! These tasty treats provide a great boost of energy—and because they’re so clean, they won’t tax your immune system (unlike more traditional sweets).   

INGREDIENTS 

  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup ground almonds
  • 4 Tbsp coconut oil
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 Tbsp yellow maca powder
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp organic vanilla extract 
  • 3 Tbsp of B.Powered Honey 
  • Desiccated coconut (dried & unsweetened)
  • BKN Raw Bee Pollen      
  1. Using a blender, blitz the rolled oats into a flour. 
  2. Combine all ingredients, except coconut & bee pollen, in a bowl.
  3. 1 tablespoon at a time, roll mixture in bite sized balls. 
  4. Pour shredded coconut and bee pollen onto individual side plates, and roll bites in each until covered.
  5. Place in the fridge to set for at least an hour.   
  6. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or frozen for up to a month.
